Every single person at Fogra stands for research, testing and certification.

The standardised FograCert test programme was developed for various materials, products and production processes from research for practice. This way, safety in the processing of materials, high-quality products and reliable production processes are confirmed with a Fogra certificate. The professional staff also have the opportunity to prove their knowledge. If they pass the exam, they receive a certificate of qualification.

Fogra core competence prepress technology

Prerequisites for professional colour communication are perfect print data, colour-accurate proof prints and correct matching conditions.

The ProcessStandard Offset (PSO) and the ISO 12647 series of standards are considered to be indispensable tools for reliable colour print production. Fogra also certifies consumables and auxiliaries required for the printing process, e.g. fountain concentrates and washing agents.

ProcessStandard Digital (PSD) has established itself internationally. It includes recommendations, instructions, target values and tolerances for digital print production.

We offer approval tests for fountain concentrates and washing agents for sheet-fed and web-offset printing presses. In addition, our portfolio includes certification for other consumables and additives required for the printing process, as well as printing inks.
