Every single person at Fogra stands for research, testing and certification.

PSOactive is a supplement to the certification according to PSO (ISO 12647) and is offered to certified print shops as an additional option. In order to guarantee consistently standardized print production even between the test dates, prints must be sent in regularly for metrological testing.

PSOactive is a valuable tool that encourages the confidence between print shop and customer, helps to avoid disputes and increases the quality of the daily workflow.

Successful participants receive a special PSO seal of approval and an additional entry in the Fogra PSO database.

You want to assure your clients that your print shop regularly provides proof of the print quality achieved? Then contact me without obligation, I will be happy to advise you!

Every three months you send in a four-coloured printed sheet from a production job including a print control strip and the corresponding measurement report. Any evaluation program or self-generated tables can be used to evaluate the print result, as long as a standard-compliant test with all necessary criteria is possible. Alternatively, an Excel template provided free of charge by Fogra can be used.

Fogra measures the solid tone colours, tone value increases, spread and paper white in the print control strip of the submitted print samples and checks the results for conformity with the standard. Furthermore, a plausibility check of the measurement report prepared by the print shop is carried out.
