What you need to do
We make it as easy as possible for you! Send us your samples without obligation. We will coordinate the further procedure with you by telephone.
For the ICAO conformity test we need from you
Samples that correspond as closely as possible in their layout and structure to the final products that will be issued later,
a detailed description of the security elements to be tested.
Visually and electronically, passports must be equipped with pattern personalisation. Ideally, you should send us a list of the "machine readable zone" (MRZ) electronically.
For the analysis of defective passports we need from you
both the defective and new, error-free passports,
a sample and error description as detailed as possible.
For an encrypted communication please send us your PGP key.

Our procedure
After receiving the order and samples at Fogra, you will get an order confirmation, which contains all information about the test period, contact person and price.
All laboratory tests are carried out according to standardised test specifications and our high quality standards. Finally, we regularly pass audits and have our quality management system certified. After completion of the examination, we summarise the results in a report. If deviations from standards or functional failures occur during the test, we will contact you immediately and provide you with advice.
